Oklahoma State - Oregon Tournament Facts

Here are some NCAA Tournament facts about Oklahoma State and Oregon:

Post-Game:
This is Oregon's first tournament win since 2007 when they beat UNLV in the Sweet Sixteen.

Travis Ford is now 1-3 with Oklahoma State and 1-4 overall in the tournament.

Oklahoma State is now 7-12 when both teams are ranked.  Everyone of those wins were in years that they went to the final four (1951, 1995, 2004).

Pre-Game:
This is the first time that two teams from a BCS school have been ranked and faced each other in the Round of 64.  

Oklahoma State is 3-3 vs. the Pacific Twelve in the tournament.

Oklahoma State is 1-1 when seeded #5 against the #12 seed.  They lost to Princeton in 56-53 in 1983.

Oregon has only won a tournament game in 5 different tournaments.  In each of those tournaments, they have played in the Elite Eight.

Oregon is 1-1 vs. the Big Twelve in the tournament.

This is Oregon's lowest seed (since 1979).  Their previous lower seed was #9 in 2008.

Oregon is 4-0 when playing in the state of California.
